I have chosen this artist because he uses surrealist and impossible images such as the sky bottled in the glass and grass floating as clouds in the sky. It links to my question (windows) because it uses glass objects as windows. It is as if the artist were sitting on a chair at the table with the glass at eye-level. This painting is like an ordinary still life. However, the mood of this image is strange. At the first glance, it just an ordinary image but when you look deeper it is something impossible to think about. He uses bright colours such as blue and green. He uses contrast between grass and clouds; he puts a sharp focus on them. He uses portrait. He uses patterns on the sky, on the glass. He makes it random, subtle yet bold.
